A goal need to be planned according to a time schedule. By giving yourself a time frame to achieve your goal within you are giving yourself a much needed deadline that can inspire you to achieve your goal by.
This sort of goal however is the type that will aid you in building muscle: My goal is to improve my benchpress to 140 kg for 12 repetitions by the 25th of September”.
