The calorie counters on the machines more exercise are only estimates. 250 calories for 15 minutes on a bike like to a gross overestimation. The key is consistency. Remember also that the exercise is only half the battle. Cut some fat and carbohydrates in your diet and protein a bit if you want to get leaner. With a good diet and strict compliance with your exercise program, you should see an immediate improvement: 1-2 pounds per week.
