Why women embrace strength training as part of their lifestyle? The reasons are many, but one major reason is that muscle tissues are intended to be used to maintain physical fitness and longevity. We all want to live long, healthy, strong and full of vigor! For those who have avoided like the plague these irons, let me list down 6 benefits of strength training.
1. It makes you stronger
Do you feel frustrated at not being able to move things or carry groceries long distances, because you do not have the strength? develop strong muscles when there is a constant overload .. When the train strength correctly and that you overload your muscles consistently, they rebuild to be a little larger each time in anticipation of the next training session. When you are strong, the world is your oyster!
2. It gives you the balance
Balance stability and allows you to protect yourself against injury. When you hurt your back as you try to run this heavy load, this occurs because weak base muscles. The abdomen and lower back are the core of your body. When there is an imbalance in the muscles of each muscle group, the risk of injury increases. It is important to develop these muscles also for this very reason.
3. It builds and strengthens bone
We all fear bones of osteoporosis and fragile that afflict many older people today. Bones stop being produced physiologically in our body after age 30. The judgments of deposit and withdrawal to begin. It is our own personal bank! While it is important that we supplement our diet with calcium in our diets as milk, soy and vegetables rich in calcium like broccoli and kale, there is a Another more direct way to maintain and even increase our bone density that most women are unaware. Training the whole body with weights and stimulating our muscles to lift heavier over time is one of the best ways to prevent bone loss and muscle.
I personally tested my reading bone mass of about a month and a half before a difficult routine and measured again after. There was a significant increase, even for me, 40 years! Research has shown that older people benefit greatly with the strength training regardless of their age. Other forms of exercise will also strengthen bones, such as running, racket sports, dancing and other weight-bearing activities.
4. It gives your body a desirable form
Oily curves and define muscles. Many women still hang on the myth that lifting weights give you big muscles. If you are referring to some of the bodybuilders out of the ordinary and the women you see in magazines, chances are they are genetically gifted and some may even take steroids (which are mainly testosterone). All these women have dedicated their life following a strict diet and monotonous and perform intensive training for the level that they have achieved.
We should not try to be at this level, we can not anyway! If you watch a marathon runner, they have essentially a thin stringy physics, adapted for the sport of their choice. Some competitive runners do not train with weights, because the extra body weight may slow them down.
The women who spend most of their time on the treadmill, Cross trainers, steppers and aerobics classes will achieve fat loss, if they are compatible, but they also lose muscle in the process, resulting in sagging skin on their skinny frames and morphologies research unhealthy. The curves that are not on their bodies, but bony prominence and pieces of skin hanging do! A healthy body sexy well rounded shoulders, lean and defined arms, wonderful six pack abs, back and a fantastic curvy shapely legs and buttocks.
5. It keeps your internal organs, thus, internal
Muscles we call six pack, which is the front part of the abdominal and lateral muscles, which are called external and internal oblique muscles are essential in protecting and keeping our organs back in. If someone dies and we do not have good muscles to cushion the blow, can you imagine the harm it will To our internal organs?
6. It keeps your metabolism high
Another benefit of having muscles is wonderful that this tissue requires energy just to maintain. That means it burns calories, so keep your metabolism high even as you sleep just keep pumping. It has the obvious advantage over exercise cardiovascular. However, it is important that you include both in your routine that your heart is a muscle too and it needs exercise just like the rest of the body.
