Chin-Up Exercises for Climbers
Make the chin up bar exercises are one of the best exercises you can do. It will target the back and shoulders like no other, especially as an exercise in body weight. If you're a climber this year is one of the best that you can do because it targets the muscles that may come into play when you ride. Remember the chin up is done with your palms facing you on the bar.
If you are not able to do push-ups, you can take shortcuts to train for them. Standing on a chair and you just cut down is a good way to start, you start to stronger pulling up. You can also put in place the bar on it, jump and shoot at the same time to get on the floor.
Make a set of UPS shoot until you can not do more. Do this for three or four sets. If you can easily you do your push-ups may need to add resistance. One way is to hold a dumbbell with your knees or feet. You could use a weight belt is attaching weights or using a weighted vest.
You can make a kind of isometric exercise by yourself pulling up at the bar, then lower down to stop at 3 or 4 points and a pause for a count of 5 to 10. Try to pull half-way and detention for 10 seconds or more. If you can get stronger traction do you have a much better climbing day knowing you have more endurance to hang and get tired so easily.
