Wrap Walking Injury
strains are commonly seen in athletes competing in sports that require rapid acceleration and change of direction towards the front and lateral movement.
A groin injury is a muscle in the hip region before involving the hip flexors primary (psoas rectus femoris, tensor fascia lata and sartorius) and / or group of hip adductor muscles (group of five muscles that contract to bring the leg in and around the body, including pectineus, gracilis and adductor magnus, long and short).
A strain of a muscle occurs when the muscles are overstretched or overloaded. In this case, it can occur in a number of ways to kick a ball without warming, a section of a rapid lateral movement or a fall while skiing in which the bonds are not output and the leg is rotated at the hip.
Who groin strains?
Athletes sensitive to groin strains are those in sports that require rapid changes of direction and movements explosives. Back volleyball players line are at risk of groin injury because of their requirement for fast movements from side to side dynamics. While volleyball athletes may be injured going to the ball, some injured athletes are moving the ball.

What Groin strains are the causes?
Groin strains are caused by overload or surge of muscle. A common mechanism of injury for athletes, soccer is a kick-half field goal before the heating. The force required to put the ball into the goal is more than the muscle can bear especially if the muscle is not stretched and warmed up.
Tight hamstring muscles are another cause of strain in the groin. Most athletes focus on their stretch of the quadriceps and hamstring muscle groups, but do not give the same attention to their group adductor muscle. These muscles tend to be tighter than the other muscles of the hip and to put an athlete at risk of injury.
That can I do to prevent a groin?
Prevention of groin strains should focus on flexibility and building programs for both the hip adductors and hip flexors and a good warm-up to properly prepare the muscles for explosive movements.
Flexibility of the hip adductor / flexor muscle group can be improved by consistently stretching exercises daily adapted specifically for these groups of muscles. It is well known that the muscles are properly stretched and constantly increase their flexibility of tissues. However, it is also well known that muscles do not get stretched tighter and tighter over time.
What is the treatment of groin?
Initial treatment (1-3 days)
The initial treatment of a groin injury depend must be securely wrapped with a bandage for support.
If a second or third degree strain is suspected, the athlete must be a cycle of twenty minutes of ice followed by a compression wrap for the first 48 to 72 hours. The person must also limit their activity and rest of the leg as possible in a position of elevation (leg above heart level). Using the price principle – protection, rest, icing, compression, elevation will help reduce the amount of swelling in the thigh.
